EUROPE ON TRACK

 

Europe on Track is a project fully funded by the European Commission that will provide young people with a platform to share their ideas in relation to different topics, including equality and gender violence with the purpose of having a more fluid communication between the European institutions and citizens, especially the youngest, through knowledge and dissemination of the current European project and the future they want for Europe.

We are looking for participants to join the project as it passes through Spain, specifically through the cities of Barcelona (October 2-4) and Madrid (October 4-6).

The activities that we are going to implement during these 4 days are:

• Learn about the many objectives of gender equality in Europe

• Take part in a local public event to exchange views on gender equality in your community

• Join our Interrail meets Politics tour Sep 28th - Oct 7th heading from Barcelona to Madrid

• Meet young Europeans from six different countries

• Meet local activists in these countries during the tour

• Meet experts and politicians (local, national and european members of parliament) to discuss the topic gender equality

• Create a social media campaign on gender equality for your peer group

• Meet with representatives of the European Commission in Madrid

• Develop a booklet with recommendations to improve gender equality in Europe

• Submit these proposals to the Spanish EU Presidency in Madrid
